These foreign students don’t need to apply for new visa to China
Two-way education communication expands in past decade as China increasingly receives foreign students, establishes schools overseas. International students from 195 countries and regions studied in China during the 2020-21 academic year, with 76 percent of them pursuing academic degrees, 35 percentage points higher than in 2012.
With the improving educational environment and a dynamic employment market, more and more international students are choosing to come to China to study and work.
Last Month
a number of Chinese embassies in foreign countries issued notices that now holders of valid APEC business travel cards and foreign students with valid study and residence permits do not need to apply for a new visa to China, but can enter China with the above-mentioned documents.
In addition to the above countries, there are also countries such as Nepal/Nigeria and Colombia to update relevant policies.
